How does one of Europe's leading 5-star hotel chains go about gaining valuable market share in the competitive Latin American market? Digital Marketing! We knew we had our work cut out for us when the Meliá hotel assigned us the ambitious task of positioning this lesser-known hotel.
   
Solutions  

Jensen & Hughes took the time to snap over 400 pictures of the hotel and their staff in order to get a feel and build a "virtual" image that would go onto a CD-ROM. Macromedia Flash® was used to create an elegant yet modern presentation in three languages that would be distributed throughout Latin America.

   
Impact  

The resulting image-rich CD-ROM has enjoyed great success and is currently in the 4th edition in less then 6 months. Traffic tracking on all editions has shown a steady growth in visits from all continents who have been more then pleased with the choice of music, 360º views, and dynamic "star-—studded" content present in the CD-ROM. Hotel Meliá can now feel sure that they are positioned in a way that can compete with the best in the industry. Soon, we'll be starting work on the hotel's Web Site.
